HWNT is a state-wide organization made up of several chapters across the state of Texas: Fort Worth, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, El Paso, Corpus Christi, Rio Grande Valley and South Texas. We are women and men from diverse backgrounds, each of us committed to promoting the participation of Hispanic women and men in public, corporate and civic arenas. HWNT seeks to advance the educational, cultural, social, legal and economic well-being of all women and men through a broader awareness of their role in society, business and family. Members seek to celebrate the positive image and values of the Hispanic culture.
HWNT is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and has become the premier Hispanic women's organization in Texas. Collaboration is fundamental to our success. In 1986, Latina visionaries from across Texas realized the need for a statewide Latina-based leadership organization.
